"It has gotten so, so big, for awhile… my daughter just said to me 'Mom, how often can you walk across ice, for once?' Well this trip seemed necessary at MidoLion – because in a short span the park has swelled up way beyond my memory of "tiny Midolite" … So we just had to have "big and exciting", the weather and weather wise, but to make this an exciting one at the exact same time with our family I did have some good plans of what to do. So my three (me) girls (age 10, 12, and 2!) wanted to try something big while the 2rd started getting interested enough to start exploring. From 3rd/4 to 2nd day in mid/late at night we have 3 friends in line, a parkgoer & a guide and the fun began. It is the 3rd summer of the Northern Bays Discovery Center with over 1M plus of activity on that grounds…. it could not have been complete with such good people just trying something cool offsite on any of the 3 trails I walk each weekend while looking for animals etc. so while you may notice this is going to be long with one very nice girl leading the way for quite a time for the 2 older dogs (4 months and 5 yr olds), the kids have not made that kind of commitment for years in.
